Kristi Lahusen, MA

NCC, LCPC, LPC (Licensed to practice in Arkansas, Montana and Colorado)

My professional journey has been diverse, encompassing military service and a broad range of roles across various professions. During my four years of active duty in the U.S. Coast Guard, I worked as a law enforcement officer, search and rescue responder, emergency dispatch operator, and later as an executive assistant. Following my military service, my career path has spanned over two decades, working in real estate and healthcare. I have served in roles that included mobile crisis counseling, conducting mental health evaluations for a county jail, served as a rural counselor for a school district, laboratory sales director for cardiovascular and diabetes prevention, and a nutritional, lifestyle, and fitness trainer. I have also been involved in facilitating mental health groups in psychiatric units, working in rehabilitation with patients with traumatic brain injuries, and counseling in juvenile detention centers.

I have formal training in individual and group counseling from Liberty University where I earned my Masters of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I am currently a fully licensed clinical professional counselor in the state of Arkansas, Montana and Colorado. I am also a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional.
